Location
We are perched on the side of Lansdown Hill exactly 1 mile from Bath station, 0.7 miles from Bath Abbey and 0.4 miles from The Circus and Royal Crescent. It is a pleasant walk down the hill from the hotel to all of Bath’s attractions but we encourage guests to take transport up the hill if you are not keen for the cardio exercise. Information can be found below on how to travel back and forth.
Arriving by car
We are fortunate to have enough car parking spaces to accommodate the majority of our guests. These are separated between 3 car parks on our site, one directly in front of the hotel, one on the opposite side of the road to the hotel and one behind the hotel opposite to Lansdown Crescent. We recommend driving to the front car park to check in before deciding where to leave the car for the duration of your stay. You are welcome to arrive at any time and we charge £10 per night for parking. Should parking spaces not be available or you do not wish to pay for parking then free on-street parking is available outside the hotel between the hours of 8pm & 7am. Lansdown Park & Ride offers great value for money and the shuttle bus stops right outside the hotel, or Charlotte Street car park is ideally located for the centre of Bath. https://travelwest.info/park-ride/lansdown-park-ride https://beta.bathnes.gov.uk/charlotte-street-car-park-bath
Taxis
If arriving in Bath city centre we would strongly recommend taking a taxi or bus up to the hotel. The cost of the taxi should be between £5 & £6. We regularly use V cars Bath. The number 31 bus runs from Milson Street, directly past the hotel every 15 minutes between 6.15 & 20.15. If arriving at the station, we would recommend a taxi.
